The Jerusalem Grand Slam is returning to the capital for the fourth consecutive year, and the new date has officially been set: On Thursday, July 8, 2027, the National Athletics Stadium at Givat Ram will once again host one of Israel’s largest and most exciting international athletics events.
Since its launch, the Jerusalem Grand Slam has continued to grow year after year, attracting athletes from Israel and around the world while strengthening Jerusalem’s position on the international athletics map. The competition combines a high professional standard, an enthusiastic Israeli crowd and a unique experience that brings spectators closer to the track and the decisive moments of each event.

Last year’s competition was the largest and most impressive to date. Around 1,800 spectators filled the stands at Givat Ram Stadium and enjoyed an evening of international athletics, closely contested events, outstanding performances and impressive achievements by Israeli athletes. The competition featured 71 athletes from 29 countries, alongside some of Israel’s leading athletics stars.
The event proved once again that the Jerusalem Grand Slam is much more than a sporting competition. The close proximity to the track, the energy in the stands, the connection between the crowd and the athletes, the fan experience areas and the evening light show transformed the stadium into a celebration of sport, rhythm and excitement.
Hosting a high-level international competition in Jerusalem, with athletes from around the world, continues to strengthen Israel’s position as a destination for international sporting events. It also gives Israeli athletes the opportunity to compete in front of a home crowd on a significant professional stage.
On July 8, 2027, it all returns.
The competition will include the following events:
Men: 100m, 200m, 110m hurdles, 400m hurdles, high jump, long jump, shot put, 4x100m relay.
