Less than a week after competing in the Olympic Games in bobsleigh – Menachem Chen is already back in the throwing circle.
The Israeli athlete from Lider Jerusalem, Israel’s national champion in shot put, set a new personal best of 18.20 m at his conference championship in the United States, representing Arkansas State University – finishing second overall.
The sharp transition from the ice track of bobsleigh to the explosive power of the throwing circle tells the whole story – strength, stability, technique, and full body control.
And now – he’s coming home.
Menachem Chen will compete at the Grand Slam Jerusalem in the discus throw, bringing Olympic experience, competitive sharpness, and the hunger to push his limits even further.
