Eldan will once again serve as the main sponsor of the international athletics competition, Grand Slam Jerusalem, which will take place this August. This marks the second consecutive year of Eldan’s sponsorship of the event, and the fourth year of full partnership between the Israel Athletics Association and the successful car rental company.
Following a meeting between representatives of the Israel Athletics Association and Eldan’s management, the two sides agreed to extend their collaboration into 2025, including main sponsorship of Grand Slam Jerusalem, scheduled for August 14, and earlier, sponsorship of the Israeli Athletics Championships in July.
The partnership and mutual trust, established four years ago, continues with the shared goal of bringing prestigious European athletics competitions to Israel, as well as hosting top-tier local events that attract the finest Israeli athletes.
Jacques Cohen, Head of the International Department of the Israel Athletics Association, met with Avishai Levy, Deputy CEO of Eldan, and thanked him and the company for their contribution to last year’s successful event. Held in May 2024 in Jerusalem during the Iron Swords war, the competition nonetheless drew athletes from around the globe. Eldan has also been a key sponsor of previous high-profile events, including the European U18 Championships in 2022 and the European U20 Championships in 2023.

The Grand Slam Jerusalem will take place on August 14, 2025, and will welcome hundreds of athletes and delegates from around the world to a prestigious SILVER-level athletics event. Hosted at Givat Ram Stadium in Jerusalem, during the height of the summer break, the event will include an EXPO village featuring sports exhibitors and activities for the whole family.
